The Alan Segal Quartet brings the finest samplings of Philadelphia Style Jazz to Gloria Dei (Old Swedes’) Church the fourth Thursday of this month from 7:30 to 9:30pm. Refreshments will be served and attendees are welcome to “Bring Your Own Wine.” A voluntary donation is requested to help defray the cost. The Archaeology of the First Baptist Church of Philadelphia Burial Ground

Approximately 500 remains and associated funerary goods were recently recovered during archaeological excavations at the former burial ground of the First Baptist Church of Philadelphia. George Leader will discuss the most recent research being conducted before the remains are to be reinterred in 2023.
