LORD May 5, 2002, WALTER SR., age 88; beloved husband of Alberta (nee Ford), loving father of Walter `Sonny` Lord Jr. (Margaret), beloved grandfather of Cathy Cottrill (Michael) and Edward Lord (Jackie), loving great grandfather of Eddie, Amanda, Mikaela, Brett and the late Brianne; sadly missed by his nieces and nephews. Relatives, friends and members of Quaker City String Band are invited to his Viewing and Funeral Thursday 8:30 A.M. MURPHY-RUFFENACH FUNERAL HOME, 3rd and Wolf Sts. and Services at 11 A.M. The family requests donations be made in Walt’s memory to the Burke Community Playground Fund, 2108 S. Front St., Philadelphia, PA 19148. He was born in 1913 and died in 2002.
