His father was Rector of Quillo
a Fine Parish in the Swedish Province
Bohlus Lan on the sea coast

He was a sincere member
of the Swedish Church.
A kind husband and fond father
His robust constitution failed gradually
in the last two years
But his mind continued cheerfully
resigned to the will of God
He received the gracious call Thou good
and faithful servant enter now in the joy of thy Lord

who died May 30th A. D. 1848
aged 69 years
