Sarah Ann Hall

Conservation Assessment

To the memory of
Sarah Ann
daughter of
Alexander & Sarah
Hall
who departed this life
July 28th 1812
aged 1 year and 25 days.

Sweet bud of spring dear Sarah
here you lie.  Twas thine to open
Ah! twas thine to die.
Twice two short years have seen the
rise and fade. And now the blossom
in the dust is laid.
Thy earthy sense, thy dawning
virtues bright, and all thy fairest
promise sunk in night.
Here rest in peace till at the final
dawn, There rise a spotless angel
from the tomb.
